SUNNY VOTES

The U.S. Constitution gives states plenary power over elections.  This means that the state legislatures determine the Times, Places and Manner of holding elections.

"One Citizen, One Vote. An Honest Vote, Honestly Counted."

Robert Barnes, Constitutional/Civil Rights Attorney

HOW ELECTION LAW WORKS

Step 1

LAW

The state legislature introduces and passes election laws that adhere to the US Constitution

THE ROOT CAUSE OF LAWLESS ELECTIONS

Dirty voter rolls, coupled with inordinate vote-by-mail practices, are a recipe for lawless elections.  Our goal is strong and lasting voter confidence, resting on a foundation of election accuracy, transparency, and accountability.

FAIR ELECTIONS

LAWLESS ELECTIONS

Citizen registers to vote

Non-Citizen registers to vote

When voters die or move, election officials remove them from voter rolls

When voters die or move, election officials neglect to update the voter registration

Candidates, PACs and Political Parties freely campaign

Government agencies and private companies interfere with free speech

Voters legally mail ballots and election officials verify their identity

Nefarious actors cast a mail ballot for a deceased or moved voter

Election officials maintain strict chain of custody of mail ballots

Election officials neglect to keep tight control on mail ballot posession

Election officials properly verify signatures on mail ballots

Election officials negligently authenticate signatures on mail ballots

3rd Party observers witness election officials process ballots

3rd Party observers are denied observation of ballot processing

Election officials properly calibrate and prepare election equipment

Election officials fail to ensure integrity of election equipment

3rd parties audit election processes, material, equipment and data

Only "risk limiting" audits are performed, and data oversight is blocked

Cleaning
Voter Rolls

LocalAF actively collaborates with Florida's state and county election officials to ensure the accuracy and integrity of voter rolls. Through our grassroots network and the use of Florida's public records law (FS119), we closely monitor and address irregularities and gaps in voter roll maintenance.

By identifying instances where voters were not appropriately deactivated or removed from the rolls, we engage with election officials to rectify these issues. Our goal is to uphold the transparency and accountability of the voter registration process for fair and trustworthy elections.

Mail Ballot
Oversight

LocalAF plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of mail-in ballots by addressing the challenges associated with signature verification. We provide comprehensive training to grassroots volunteers on best practices for signature verification.

Leveraging FS 101.572(2), we designate watchdog observers to oversee the signature verification process, creating an environment of accountability and diligence in election offices.

By closely monitoring and scrutinizing signature verification, we contribute to reducing election non-compliance and promoting a more secure and trustworthy electoral process.
